Care Futures is recruiting a Day Care Assistant for their day service based at The Bingham Centre in Frenchay, Bristol. Our day service provides adults with learning difficulties with a varied timetable of activities, both in-house at the Centre and in the community.
We are looking for a resourceful, ideas person, who is fun, outgoing and confident to work alone in the community supporting our clients’ day care packages. Community activities include swimming, horse riding and other physical activities. You will need to be passionate about making a difference to the lives of our service users, a good communicator and have good written skills. Previous experience with service users with Dementia would be useful.
You must be a car driver with a clean, full driving license, to support client access to the community. You would be required to use your own car for which you could claim a mileage allowance.
We prefer to employ people who have had previous experience and if you have a relevant NVQ2/QCF2 you would be receive a pay enhancement.

Bingham Centre’s normal opening times are from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm. You would normally work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
The pay for this role is £7.50 per hour. With a relevant NVQ2/QCF2 qualification, you would receive £7.80 per hour. We offer free-of-charge training, support and development opportunities and access to our pension scheme where you could receive an Employer contribution (terms and conditions apply).
